What's up with the shipping rates everywhere?
The USPS (our carrier of choice) and everyone else has gone from weight or package size shipping to a combination of both called "dimensional shipping." This means every box is measured and a maximum weight per box is determined. (The same size boxes weigh more for international shipping.) If what we ship is less than the "determined" weight, we pay for the "determined" weight. If what we ship weighs more, we pay for the actual weight. Gone are the days of a small item in a big box of peanuts. This also explains why the USPS flat rate "if it fits it ships" rates have increased.
Why do the labels have so much stuff on them, if they're home made?
Good question. The answer is simple, even though the label is not. We want to do everything above board, in other words within the law, rather than on the outskirts of the law waiting to get caught. That being said, the FDA controls labeling for cosmetics. The rules and regulations are about 50 pages and regulate everything from the size of the label, size of print, placement of the information and label content. Our labels are our attempt to follow these rules. The only place we deviate is in the ingredient list, our font size is larger than the minimum required because we believe you deserve to know what's in the bottle (and what's not in the bottle). The minimum font size required is too small to read without magnification. We also add an English translation after the scientific name, for example "Sodium Chloride (salt)". We'll be Pinning a "Anatomy of a Label" in the near future on Pinterest/Love4MySkin. After that, you can look at other labels of some of our competitors and see if they are "law outskirters" or above board. And if someone can't follow the law put in place to protect consumers, what else are they hiding?

What Essential Oils do you use and why?
Each formulation has it own unique combination of essential oils, carrier oils, herbs, waxes, and water. We either organically grow and extract the oils/herbs, or buy the finest available. We will be Pinning a series of Essential Oil Properties and Uses on Pinterest/Love4MySkin site in the near future.
Any essential oil added enhances skin exfoliation or skin moisturization or to adds to the quality of the experience.

Do you really make them or are you just re-sellers?
Actually, thank you for the question, you must have purchased a bottle with a straight label. Yes, we make everything at our farm facilities in Fairview PA. In addition to mixing and packaging all the products, we endeavor to organically grow as many of the ingredients as we are able, and we extract some of the essential oils too. Here is a small aerial picture of our farm and fields just to the right of the housing development (around the blue dot).

Any new blends coming soon?
We strive to have new blends, that is scrubs, lotions and other items as often as possible, but the process isn't as simple as "we need something new" and "Poof!, there it is!". Scrubs are generated based on need and requests, so feel free to request. (The Vanilla Scrub was requested at the Women's Expo in Erie, 2015). We make lotions to match, or if the lotion comes first, we scrubs to match.
Starting with Ladies Night at the Erie BayHawks Game on Feb 5, 2016; we introduced Lotion Bars. Same concept as the lotions, but these don't spill. Simply rub them on dry areas and feel the softness without the worry about where to rub the excess. In so doing we also introduced a few new formulations, (and more labels to create!)
Let me ask before you do:
Will scrubs and liquid lotions be available in these new formulas?
Yes, Except Baby Bump and Beyond which is ONLY a LOTION BAR formulation.
And
Will existing lotions be available as Bars?
Yes.
